Why I joined Pi Chi: Like a lot of my sisters, I never thought I would join greek life. as soon as I started meeting the sisters though, I knew I wanted to be a part of their family. I had been trying since I came to oneonta to really find my place within everyone, and pi chi is just that.
About Me: Anyone who knows me knows it takes a little while to get used to me. I'm incredibly sarcastic and like to keep to myself at times, but I love meeting new people and making friends. my favorite color is any and every shade of blue, I enjoy pop-punk, and I absolutely could not get by if it weren't for my friends, and my mom.

Why I joined Pi Chi: I never saw myself as a girl that would join a sorority. Due to the fact that I was friends with Steph, I got to meet some of the sisters. Pi Chi was the only sorority that I was interested in. They are not like every other cookie cutter sorority. It's such a great feeling to be accepted for who you are. With Pi Chi you don't have to look, act, or be a certain way; you can comfortably be yourself. Slowly but surely they are helping me break out of my shell. I love my sisters and I wouldn't trade Pi Chi for any other organization. I look forward to so many memories with these amazing girls.
About Me: I'm just your average girl from Poughkeepsie, NY. I'm weird, but in a good way and I love making new friends. I'm in a long term relationship with netflix; and have an unhealthy obsession with the internet. My idol is Lana Del Rey... she's perfect. You'll always find me listening to the blink182 pandora station. I lived in Germany for a month as a foreign exchange student and I dream of traveling all over the world. I currently have no idea what I want to do with my life but hopefully I'll figure it out soon.

Why I joined Pi Chi: I never saw myself joining Greek life, I just didn’t see the point. But when I met this amazing group of women through a mutual friend I knew Pi Chi was something I wanted to be apart of. The sisters made me feel accepted while also pushing me to better myself. Since my freshman year Pi Chi really has been my second family.
About Me: I am a Comm major from Long Island and an aspiring summer camp director. While not as school I work at my childhood camp and love everything about it. I like hiking, reading, and disconnecting from my phone when I can. You can also usually find me at a local coffee shop (mild caffeine addiction).

Why I joined Pi Chi: I have been thinking about joining Pi Delta Chi since my Junior year. I had a bad roommate experience Freshman and two during Sophomore year, and I haven’t had the best luck with friends in Oneonta. I was looking at all the clubs and I ran into Pi Delta Chi. I saw and immediately liked their motto, Unity and Eternal Friendship. I know I wanted to try to join the following semester. I am very glad that I did make this decision to join because now not only do I have friends in Oneonta but I have a family.
About Me: I am from Liverpool, NY right outside Syracuse, NY. I love elephants and I love the color pink. I work in the summer as an Arts and Crafts Director at the longest running day camp in the country. My favorite singers are Hunter Hayes and Luke Bryan. Most people go to me when they need advice or someone to cheer them up.

Why I joined Pi Chi: As everyone else has said, I didn't picture myself a sorority girl. But I think that's what made Pi Chi attractive to me. Because in Pi Chi, I found a group of unique individuals who I can connect with through our strange and misfit-kind of ways. I don't have to look, act or be a certain way to have my sisters accept me because by nature they do. Before becoming a new member I was friends with majority of the sorority and I genuinely saw myself with these girls for the rest of my life. And with that being said, I'm so excited to make so many outstanding memories with my sisters.
About Me: Coming from New York City, I have a natural open mind and accepting personality. I've played the cello for nine years and studied at a performing arts school in Manhattan and I guess that's what makes me very outspoken and out-there, which is an acquired taste. Being a music industry major, I can see myself promoting for an indie label but my long-term goal is to work in the New York Philharmonic Archives as an archivist and if I were to pursue a performance path with the cello I would love to be in a Broadway Pit Orchestra. I'm very outgoing and I'm always craving adventure and I'm always ready to hop on a plane and travel somewhere. I have an unhealthy obsession with coffee and owls and my dog, Jeter and my cat, Penny.

Why I Joined Pi Chi: I transferred to Oneonta in the middle of the year and I had a hard time meeting people, and I hadn't made many close friends. I wasn't able to attend rush week but in an effort to be more involved on campus I joined Harry Potter club and the first meeting I attended the president made an announcement that her sorority was having a split class and at first I was to shy to talk to her but, a few days later I Facebook messaged her and I am so glad I did. Pi Delta Chi really does feel like a family and In the short time that I have been in the sorority I have already become that much more involved on campus.
About Me: I Love fantasy Novels and the color purple. I am a diver on the Oneonta swimming and Diving team and I love every minute of it. My favorite band is State radio and I'm always covered in paint

Why I Joined Pi Chi: When I came to college I knew I wanted to join a sorority. When I came here though I got a job and classes were crazy so I was afraid I wouldn't have the time. I also was worried about joining a group of girls who are the stereotypical sorority girls with the hazing and the I'm better than all of you attitude. Then I met Pi Chi and I was completely turned around. They welcomed me with open arms and all of their amazing quirks that we all love so much. They heard my crazy schedule and said we can work with you and promised full support every step of the way. They acted like a huge family and I really wanted to be a part of it. As I joined they just showed me more and more how amazing they are and I've been so excited to be a sister of this amazing organization feeling not only part of a sorority but part of a family
About Me: I am a very musical person I love piano and singing and playing guitar and I always have a song stuck in my head. I love my family even though they drive me crazy and I love my amazing friends who are always there for me. I can start out as being shy but I'm actually really loud. Also I am Sicilian and have the appetite and obsession with food as much as any native. I love reading which is why its great I work in a library I read Young Adult Fiction pretty much anything with a strong female character. I love Netflix and watching movies its somewhat of an addiction. I want to move down South where its always warm and everyone is nice to each other. And finally... Yes my curls are natural, no its not a pain it takes like five seconds to do it every morning and no I like my hair and don't want it straight. :)

Why I joined Pi Chi: I joined Pi chi because I always wanted to have sisters. I knew from day 1 I wanted to join Pi chi because everyone was so friendly and awesome. Why I joined Pi Chi: I joined Pi Chi because I felt extremely out of place as a new student on campus. My sisters have helped me to find a home here in Oneonta, and the traditions and values that each sister strives to uphold assured me that these were the girls that I wanted to call mine.
About me: I am an education major, which will prove interesting because I love to stay up late and sleep till noon. I am slightly obsessed with purple and Disney, and if I could spend the rest of my life in a library I would.

Why I joined Pi Chi: I joined Pi Chi because I was eating alone and Kara invited me to join her. After telling me about the organization, I thought it was great. I was then introduced to other girls in the sorority and knew that I had found my place on campus!
About me: I am shy but outgoing person, once you get to know me I open up. I grew up on a farm in South Onondaga. Napping is my favorite past time, it helps me De-stress. I love going on juggle adventures (spur of the moment trips). Not sure of the where my next one will be or when but I have a tingling that it will be soon. I also thoroughly enjoy a clean living space and fresh sheets.

Why I joined Pi Chi: For my first year on campus, I wanted nothing to do with Greek Life. I was actively involved in another club with two Pi Chi sisters. One night they invited me to an event, I was hesitant about going because I never thought of myself as a sorority girl. Actually nobody ever thought of me as a sorority girl. Pi Chi went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and understood that I was crazy busy. They worked with my schedule, made me feel included and gave me a wonderful support system to draw on while I'm away from home.
About me: I'm a dietetics major. I like to go on adventures, to travel and to immerse myself in the local culture. I'm obsessed with cats and dragons. I'm currently raising a Chinese Water Dragon who I love to talk about. I also enjoy tattoos and piercings.

Why I joined Pi Chi: When I first arrived in Oneonta, I made a small group of friends, but I was looking to expand outside of this group of girls. I knew a sister who had said that these girls were some of the most down to earth and caring women and this could not have been any more true. Everyone made me feel excepted and from the moment I accepted my bid I felt at home.
About me- I come from the town of Amsterdam, NY and I am a massive nerd. I enjoy anything Marvel and am obsessed with Doctor Who. I grew up with two brothers and two dogs and I definitely like the dogs more.
